Toni was first introduced to physical therapy when she was a patient of Valerie Sinkus in 1985. Toni was working on an Associate's Degree in Travel Careers & Hospitality when Valerie hired her as a receptionist and later made her a Physical Therapy aide at PPT. Valerie strongly encouraged Toni to pursure a career in physical therapy rather than in the travel industry. After three years of experience at PPT, Toni was accepted into the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Cerritos College, where she completed her degree in 1992. Toni feels blessed to have stumbled upon her physical therapy career and to share in assisting people on their journey to healing and improved quality of life.
Toni is proud to be third generation native, "Los Angelean" and is a huge fan of all Southern California sports teams, but especially the UCLA Bruins! She is married and a proud mother of three boys: Jarrett (20), John-Paul (8), and Gavin (2). The Gonzales family is very busy with athletic activities such as UCLA Track & Field, Chino Hills Jr. All American Football, and NJB Basketball games. When she has time to herself, Toni enjoys playing golf with her husband, listening to music, cooking, going to the beach, and contemplative prayer.
